ஃபைல்களைப் புரட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்த ரவியின் இருக்கை நோக்கி “Being the best is always better than good. இல்லைங்களா சார்?” என்றபடியே வந்தமர்ந்த அகிலாவை விநோதமாகப் பார்த்தான் ரவி. “என்ன ரவி? திகைச்சுப்போய் பார்க்கற! ஒரே வாக்கியத்தில்  all the three degrees of adjectives வருதேன்னா?.... ஆறு மாசத்துக்கு முன்னமே ரகு சார் சொன்ன வாக்கியம் இது” என்றாள். “அதானே பார்த்தேன். ‘நம்ம அகிலாதானா இதுன்னு?’ ஷாக் ஆயிட்டேன்” என்ற ரவி, “ஆனாலும் பரவாயில்லை அகிலா… நல்ல ஞாபகசக்திதான் உனக்கு” என்றான்.

அங்கு வந்த ரகு, ‘‘Very few states in India are as cold as Sikkim இதன் superlative degree என்ன ரவி?” என்றவரிடம், “ரொம்ப சிம்பிள் சார். நீங்க ஏற்கனவே very few  என்று பாசிடிவ் டிக்ரில வந்தா Superlative degreeல one of the என்ற phrase கண்டிப்பா வரும்னு சொல்லியிருக்கீங்க. So, Sikkim is one of the coldest states in India.

கரெக்ட்டுங்களா சார்?” என்று எட்டாம் வகுப்பு மாணவனைப் போல் ஆர்வத்துடன் கேட்டான் ரவி. “சூப்பர் ரவி. கரெக்ட்தான்.” என்ற ரகுவிடம், அகிலா, “இதற்கு நான் Comparative degree சொல்லவா சார்?... இந்த மாடல் வந்தா  Comparative degree ல ‘than many other’ என்ற phrase உபயோகப்படுத்தணும்னு சொல்லியிருக்கீங்க. So ‘Sikkim is colder than many other states in India.’ Am I right sir?” என்றாள். “Quite right Akila” என்ற ரகு தன் கையிலிருந்த இரண்டு டெஸ்ட் பேப்பர்களை அவர்களிடம் கொடுத்தார். “இதை வொர்க் அவுட் பண்ணுங்க பார்க்கலாம்”  என்றார்.
