அலுவலகப் பணியில் ஆழ்ந்திருந்த ரவியின் அருகே வந்தமர்ந்த ரகு, ‘‘சென்ற முறை முதல் மாடல் English is easier than Tamil (Comparative degree) and its positive degree is ‘ Tamil is not as easy as English’ என்றும், இரண்டாவது மாடலான Gopi is the tallest man in the office.  Gopi is taller than any other man in the office.  No other man is as tall as Gopi என்றும் பார்த்தோம் இல்லையா? இன்று கடைசி மாடலான  மூன்றாவது மாடல் ONE among MANY PEER model பார்க்கலாம்.’’

(Comparative Degree) பல பெண்களை விட அகிலா உயரமானவள் என்றும் Very few ladies are as tall as Akila. (Positive Degree) ஒரு சில பெண்களே அகிலா அளவுக்கு உயரமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள். என்றும் வரும்’’ என்றார்.
